They will definitly came back to Slovenia!

Last week was one of the craziest times in my life. Why? Because we had a visit from Belgium. As I wrote already before, Ludwig, Mathieu, Valerie and Philippe came to Slovenia. After some problems at the airport – you won't believe it, but they had a strike at Belgium airport – they finally arrived. So what were their first impression about Slovenia? There are a lot of threes and mountains... :) Week passed by so fast that we couldn't even imagine. Crazy Slovene people – Irena, Ziga, Kiri and me – tryied to show them almost all beautiful things that Slovenia offers. From Gorenjska region (Kranj, Kranjska Gora, Vršič, Bovec, Kobarid), down to Karst (Trselj, Štanjel) and then to the coast (Piran, Portorož), caves and lake of Cerknica, back to our capital Ljubljana, Dolenjska region (castle Otočec, Stična, Podčetrtek) then Prekmurje (mill on Mura river, spa), Celje, Logaska dolina and lest but not least Bohinj (with waterfall Savica) and our famous Bled lake. For memory Philippe made a movie with short presentation of places where we have been. WHO ROCKS THE HOUSE??? SLOVENIA ROCKS THE HOUSE (with Belgium delegation of course:) ) Aaaaaajde!

Izvršni odbor AIESEC Kranj je podelil nagradi za najbolj proaktivna člana v mandatu 2006/07. Vas zanima več? Nagrado sta si zaslužila: naša nova članica Špela Ješe, kot najbolj aktivna nova članica ter hkrati novoizvoljena podpredsednica za odnose z javnostmi ter David Dragan, stari član AIESEC Kranj, ki je za naslednje leto prevzel funkcijo podpredsednika za finance in razvoj kadrov. Za nagrado se bo lahko udeležil DMP programa na šoli management IEDC na Bledu, ki je tudi eden izmed naših partnerjev. Iskrene čestitke obema! EB Kranj, 2006/07 Aaaaaajde!

AIESEC connects people? But of course!

AIESEC connects people. How? Hmm, let me explain. Last year in February 2006 four crazy Slovene girls (Crazy Slovenian delegation) participated on a motivational conference (CEEMOS – Central and Eastern Europe Motivation Seminar) in Warsaw. There we met a lot of people from different countries all over the world. Yes we have friends in Malaysia, Tunisia, Turkey, Romania, Poland, Serbia,... and of course Belgium. There were 2 guys presenting the last country that I mentioned, Ludwig and Mathieu. During the conference and study tour (sightseeing Poland) we became really good friends so last summer Irena (my roomie) and I decided to visit them in Belgium. Since Belgium is a little bit too expensive for us, guys did a really great job and showed us almost the whole Belgium and we didn’t spend that much money. So the year went by, it will be almost one year since we saw each other and now it’s time to do a tour once again, but this time with a slight change. Ludwig and Mathieu will come to sLOVEnia, today in a few hours. Yes, it’s time that we take them around and show them the beautiful countryside. And one more thing, we won’t be alone. This year the group is going to be a little bit bigger and that will be even more exiting. We will have our two lovely guys’ Žiga and Tadej with us, Ludwig will bring his girlfriend Valerie and two days later Philippe (he was our personal tourist guide in Antwerp) will join us. People join AIESEC or any other student organization that offers you to be active in your county or even better in foreign countries. Because going to international conferences, meeting new people, having fun and making a long term friendships, are things that school (diploma) can’t provide you. You know how we always say in AIESEC… IT’S UP TO YOU! Aaaaaajde!

Our handsome guy also left us...:(

Tandogan - Tandy left us yesterday at 11.45 p.m. Like all others interns he said few words before he went home... back to Turkey, back to AIESEC, back to LC Izmir. Tandy stay in touch! Aaaaaajde!

Today at exactly 11.15 plane took off from our airport and took our Zoomy back home. Like all the rest of our interns, she shared with us last few words... Don't forget us and come back as soon as possible! :) Aaaaaajde!
